Whilst I have not closed the business, I have decided to take some time out whilst I have a serious life adventure. C J Procurement has had the pleasure of working for some great organisations and with some great people and will no doubt do so again......but not just yet 😀

It’s the little things that make working away from home a little more bearable.

What a year 2018 has been. At the start of the year I was an employee, as I had been for 37 years, but in the summer, having been given a little nudge in the right direction, I took the leap of faith and set up on my own. I was prepared for a slow start, however the last 6 months have exceeded my wildest expectations. Could I have done it on my own? I doubt it, never underestimate the power of your own network. I have received everything from practical support on things I needed to do, introductions, words of wisdom from people who have been in my situation before and just the odd word of encouragement when I had my doubts. I have met some fantastic people along the way, learned a lot about myself and will never look back. I am now in a position where I can deploy the skills gained over my many years in Procurement across various categories and market sectors. Thanks to all of you who have helped me along the way, you know who you are, have a great Christmas and a fantastic 2019.
