One of our coaches once said to us, “One day, there will come a point when you both ‘just know’ you are ready to retire from competing”…
 
…You kind of go on wondering when that might happen, if it would be a specific moment or a gradual realisation, and how you will feel about stepping away from something that has been such a significant part of your life together for so long. Although we had hoped to compete one more time, sometimes life has a funny way of telling you that you are ready, and that it is time for new challenges.
 
Dance is how we met; it is our life together, it is what we love together, and teaching our wonderful students has become our greatest priority. So, even as we step away from the competition floor, we are excited to evolve GMC Dance, embrace new opportunities, and continue supporting a world that has given us so much for so long.
 
We owe our journey to our amazing families who, 16 years ago, thought traveling 200 miles a few times a week was totally reasonable 🙃. To our wonderful coaches, friends, students, and everyone who has supported our competitive journey – Thank you 🫶🏻
 
And finally, to our best friends, James and Fran - Boy, are we lucky to have you guys! Your creativity, passion, talent, advice and incredible creations always surpassed our expectations. We feel beyond fortunate to have worn your brand since the very beginning of JF Dance.

As one chapter ends, the next one is already happening, and we can’t wait for what’s to come.
