We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Nursery Apprentice to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an early year setting while working towards a recognised childcare qualification.
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will support our experienced practitioners in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities.
β’ Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
β’ Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment.
β’ Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
β’ Observing and recording children's progress under the guidance of senior staff.
β’ Following nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
β’ Participating in training and completing apprenticeship coursework.
What We're Looking For
β’ A genuine passion for working with young children.
β’ Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
β’ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Reliable, caring, and professional approach.
β’ Ability to work as part of a team.
β’ GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (preferred but not essential, depending on apprenticeship provider requirements).
