💫🚀🌍🖌️ It’s been a week full of final sessions and reviews have been coming in from our past students- they have got me a bit teary eyed!

What an incredible privilege it is to work alongside young people every day helping them gain confidence and reach their goals. These reviews made me a tad emotional! I’ve had an amazing journey with each of these students, no journey has been the same but each student has come away with increased confidence which has been wonderful. It has a pleasure working with them all and I wish them all the best!

Meet our tutors 👋- Hi I’m Tom, the other half of our husband and wife team. I have 12 years working in secondary schools and have held numerous roles including Head of Maths and Assisstant Principal. I have a proven track record of improving students results in both GCSE and A-Level maths. I offer both 1-2-1 and group sessions online. This week it’s been World’s Mental Health Day and as we approach October half term, mock season is just around the corner. For many young people this leads to anxiety and dips in mental health. So much emphasis is often on achievement it’s often easy to lose sight of looking after ourselves too; self care and looking after wellbeing is more important than ever as we are constantly pushed to be the ‘best version of ourselves’ we can possibly be. These qualities are already there, sometimes we just need to sit down and recognise our strengths, take time to find the joy in the little things and take a break from social media which often makes us feel like we need to be more like everyone else or we are missing out. Good mental health and nurturing this is so important for young people and helping students know their value and building their confidence is at the core of what we do. This weekend we challenge you to take a wellbeing weekend challenge and take that opportunity to have a breather, reflect on how awesome you are and enjoy the little things. Little moments of self care make a huge difference, so look after you this weekend! 🩵💙

A busy morning of learning and teaching. A brilliant session with international students learning about the geography behind the Disney film ‘Finding Nemo’, Crush the Sea Turtle, how Sea Turtles have adapted to the oceans, thermohaline circulation in the oceans. 🐢🐠🪼🐋

We then had a go at applying our new knowledge alongside whilst using relative clauses to produce a piece of creative writing! 📖🖌️
