If you’re new here, hello! I’m Dan the face behind Phonics with Robot Reg Lichfield!
I thought it was time I properly introduced myself…
I’m a Dad and a Primary school Teacher of 12+ years. I am still in the classroom 3 days a week and lead Phonics in my school.
I started Robot Reg because I was looking for something that could work a little bit more flexibly around my family life.
My favourite part of class is learning to blend I love seeing that lightbulb moment when I child blends for the first time!
And the best part of my job? Watching little ones grow in confidence, learn new skills and have SO much fun along the way!
Our Robot Reg classes are fun, high-energy and packed with songs, games, movement and learning - often without the children even realising they’re learning!

Phonics starts long before children begin to read!

And the good news? You don’t need worksheets, flashcards or formal lessons to help your little one develop those early skills.

Simple everyday activities like listening to sounds, singing nursery rhymes, sharing stories and playing sound games all help build the foundations they’ll need for reading later on. 📚✨
