📚 Summer Exam Results 2026 📚

Summer Exam Results will be emailed to parents and carers at 8am tomorrow, Thursday 20th August.

We're incredibly proud of every one of our pupils. While it's wonderful to celebrate academic results, we know that this only forms a small part of the progress our young people make. We celebrate all forms of achievement, and we can't wait to celebrate with our pupils tomorrow.

We'd also like to wish the very best of luck to pupils across the country who are receiving their results tomorrow. We hope the day brings you pride in how far you've come.

If you'd like to collect your child's GCSE results in person, our small cafe in the school car park will be open between 9am and 10am tomorrow, Thursday 20th August.

Massive congratulations to Maks, one of our pupils, who won two Gold medals at the British Junior Para Championships in Bedford this weekend, taking first place in both the 100m and 200m.

Brilliant achievement, Maks, we’re all really proud of you. 🥇🥇

🌳 What a fantastic day our Year 7 pupils had at Leomansley Woods yesterday! 🌳

The children enjoyed exploring the woods during a fun scavenger hunt, searching for natural treasures and working together to spot different plants and woodland features. They then put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test with some brilliant den building, creating shelters using natural materials from the forest floor.

After all that hard work, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved picnic lunch in the sunshine before heading to the park for some playtime with friends. To make the day even sweeter, they finished with a delicious ice cream treat! 🍦☀️

It was wonderful to see our pupils showing such enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork throughout the day. We're very proud of how well they represented our school and we hope they came home with lots of happy memories from a fantastic outdoor adventure! 😊

🏔️ Year 11 and 14 Residential: Adventures in Hathersage! 🏔️

Our Year 11 and Year 14 pupils have just returned from a fantastic two-night residential to Hathersage in the beautiful Peak District, and what an adventure it was!

Day one saw the group explore the village, enjoy lunch and an outdoor gym session in the park, and take a very refreshing dip at Hathersage Lido, where every single pupil got into the pool and loved playing games in the water! 🏊 After checking into the Youth Hostel, dinner was devoured by ravenous staff and pupils alike before a games night of pool, table curling and Connect 4.

Day two was spent at Lea Green Outdoor Education Centre for a fun packed day of adventurous activities. Our pupils worked in teams on the low ropes course, went bouldering in the cave, explored the forest on a stream walk, then finished the day on an inflatable slip and slide where everyone ended up very wet! 💦 A big thank you to all of our parents for the excellent packing, spare clothes were definitely needed!

Memories made for a lifetime, and what a wonderful way for our leavers to round off their time together. 💙

A huge thank you to Mr Bulleyment, Mr Huckfield, Mrs Dawes, Mrs Day and Miss Yates, who gave up two days and nights away from their own homes and families to make this unforgettable experience possible. You're all GREAT!

🌞 Summer Holiday Wellbeing Support 🌞

The summer holidays are a lovely time for rest and family fun, but we know they can also bring worries for some of our young people. We wanted to share details of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST), who work with children and young people aged 5 to 18 across South Staffordshire.

MHST offer low intensity, CBT based support for difficulties such as low mood, anxiety, worry, panic, sleep difficulties and phobias. They also run online parent led workshops to help you support your child with fears and worries, and there are pre recorded workshops on anxiety and low mood you can watch at any time.

If you feel your child needs more urgent support over the summer, please reach out to:

📞 24h Mental Health Access Team, 0808 196 3002 (24/7)
📞 Samaritans, 116 123, free 24/7
📞 ChildLine, 0800 1111
🚨 In an emergency or if there's a risk to life, call 999 or go to A&E

For more information about MHST, call 01283 504487 or follow on social media. You can also refer your child directly by contacting your local MHST.

Please do reach out out for support if you need it.

⚠️ Important: Change to Car Park Arrangements ⚠️

Please be aware that the NCP car park adjacent to school has today, suddenly and without notice, changed ownership and is now run by Times Car Parks.

We've contacted them to discuss the longstanding agreement that gave parents and carers a 20 minute grace period for drop off and collection. Unfortunately, they've confirmed this agreement no longer exists.

🚗 The grace period is now 10 minutes, not 20
💷 Stays longer than 10 minutes require payment, otherwise a penalty notice will be issued

We're really disappointed by this and we'll be following it up through their formal complaints procedure. Until further notice though, please plan your drop off and collection around the 10 minute limit, we'd hate for any of our families to receive a penalty notice.

We'll keep you updated on any progress.
