Little Frogs Childminding

🐸Monday🐸

After a rainy start, day 15 of ended being a sunny busy fun day!!

We headed to the woods on a bug hunt and then decided to draw some wiggly worms!

We had a play in the park before lunch and then headed to school to watch Alice in her sports day!

All 4 little frogs were very well behaved and loved clapping and cheering for Alice and the other orange team members!

Day 13 of spent outside enjoying the countryside at National Trust Calke explore and completing a 6mile bike ride!

🐸Thursday🐸

Day 11 of challenge and we embraced the weather and stomped in puddles!! Lots of puddles and mud and long swishy grass!

We also made some artwork- with a fork!!!- inspired by the rain!

🐸Wednesday🐸

Day 10 of with a trip to the library and the fun at Spark - Burntwood Garden play- dodging the downpours!!

Later we played in the garden and completed a senses scavenger hunt... I can see, I can hear, I can smell and I can feel... We used lots of descriptive language, named colours and objects and made sounds we could hear with our voices!

🐸Tuesday🐸

A day spent mostly at home and in the garden for day 9 of and then a little walk to enjoy the sunshine 🌞

🐸We played in water and mud with shells, pinecone and flower petals.
🐸We painted with mud!
🐸We did puzzles, counting, practice name writing and snipping with scissors
🐸On our walk we listening to the sounds in the woods and looks up at the sky to see what we could see!

🐸Monday🐸

Day 8 of our challenge with a day out at National trust Shugbourgh Hall.

🐸We saw pigs, cows, sheep and chickens- practising making animal noises and talking about baby animals.
🐸We spotted different colour flowers and talked about bees and butterflies in the meadow.
🐸We followed the sunflower trail and learnt how to plant and grow a sunflower.
🐸We loved exploring the play meadow- enjoyed playing in the sand, balancing and climbing and jumping on the hay bails!

A day full of learning and lots of fun!

🐸Thursday🐸

Day 4 of - playgroup and then a litter picking with friends. We read Lennie the lichfield legend, made hedgehog pictures and made lichfield cathedral with duplo!

After school we unexpectedly got to meet some tiny bunnies and baby tortoises too!

🐸Wednesday🐸

Day 3 of and a wet trip to Buzzards valley nature trail. We enjoyed walking along the sensory path spotting and reading the signs about the local wildlife, watching some older children have a fishing lesson and collecting pinecone in the woods!

Later we made a bug hotel and bird feeders for the garden 🦋🐝🐛🐦

🐸Tuesday🐸

Day 2 of and a trip to The Wolseley Centre. What a wonderful day enjoying nature, listening the birds, spotting bees, rolling down hills, popping bubbles, playing in mud, climbing trees, walking in long swishy grass and splashing in the stream!

We also saw a squirrel eating nuts hanging upside down, some gosslings and made some bird feeders!!
