Running from 26th to 29th May, the EAL Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations is built for learners who want to strengthen their understanding of electrical installation design, construction management and initial verification.

Over four days, the course covers design calculations, design and verification procedures, protective systems, BS 7671 and the wider statutory and non-statutory requirements that shape safe electrical design.

In-service inspection and testing involves identifying damage, deterioration and faults that are not always immediately visible. Training covers inspection procedures, statutory requirements, equipment construction and documentation practices in line with the IET Code of Practice.

The qualification includes both an open book exam and practical assessment.
