A week ago today, we welcomed our third beautiful little girl into the world 💛

We are all doing well and enjoying this precious time together as a family of five, getting to know our newest little addition.

Thank you so much for all of the lovely messages, kind wishes and patience over the last few weeks. Your support means a great deal to us.

I’m looking forward to slowly getting back into the swing of things, but for now we’re soaking up the newborn cuddles and making the most of these special early days ✨

🎲 Word maze 🎲

We’ve been keeping cool this week by playing some of our favourite spelling games in the coolest room we can find 🥵

For this game, you move your way around the board (we adapted the board by using our favourite ) and each time you land on a letter, you collect it.

Once you get to the end, the challenge is to make as many words as you can using the letters! Perfect for discussing onset and rhyme and digraphs and trigraphs!

Our ‘Guess Who’ got a revamp this week! 🤓

We’ve been revising shape names and properties and this was a great way to put them into practice!

We discussed angles, vertices, faces, curved surfaces, edges and parallel and perpendicular lines 🟨

Our buddy sessions are perfect for children who feel more comfortable learning with someone they know, whether that’s a sibling, friend or another child with a similar learning style.

These sessions still offer targeted support, but in a relaxed, collaborative environment where children can build confidence together through games, discussion and shared activities.

For many children, learning feels easier when they’re not doing it alone ✨

We’ve been having lots of fun recently helping some of our Year 4 children prepare for the upcoming Multiplication Check in June 🧮

Here are some of our favourites from ✨

From quick-fire challenges like Times Tables Dash to games like Roll and Race and Connect 4, these activities are a great way to build fluency, recall speed and confidence — all through play 💛

It’s the start of an emotional few weeks 🥺

With upcoming SATs and GCSEs and an ever growing bump 👶… we will be saying goodbye to some very special people in May and June. Some of whom have been with us since the very beginning! 💛

We’ve also had some incredible families moving on recently due to changes in their circumstances and we wish them all the best on their new adventures! 🧡
