violin, viola, piano and music theory teacher with 10+ years experience. Matthew Church and Birmingham Sandon Hall.
I have worked with students of all ages and all levels of abilities with most of my students achieving ABRSM High Merit or Distinctions. Prior to the Royal College of Music, I trained as a Viola soloist at the Tunghai University in Taichung where I was awarded the Viola Division First Prize at the Taiwan Young Musician competition (2002). Throw back the gig I played last Sunday in the .micropub Lichfield. It was always a great fun to play there. The atmosphere is great, chill and relaxing, people are nice, drink is nice. Everything is just brilliant. Love playing in such a cozy pub.

Today, I am a mummy who visit the baby’s nursery to play some little tunes to all his friends! Feel so privileged to be able to do that. Looking at all those little smiles. Who care if we are not in the huge concert hall! Those smiley faces made it all worth it. 😍🥰

Throw back old photos. This was taken 7 years ago in Homerton College,Cambridge. In the break of rehearsal for the solo recital, me and the pianist decided to take photos in this cute little concert space. Yes, though the photo was taken of me and the piano, I was playing on the viola🎻,of course 😂 good old times and I miss my long hair☺️
