As part of the NPA/Higher Photography class, pupils have taken part in the Edinburgh College Photography Department School Partnership Programme. The S1 Girls Basketball team were very successful in their Semi-Final vs Falkirk High School yesterday, Wednesday 12 March, winning 36-21. The girls have encapsulated the school values perfectly and have been an amazing credit to the school displaying resilience, integrity and passion in representing Broughton!
They have now therefore progressed to the Scottish Cup Final which is being held in Easterhouse next Wednesday, 19 March.
Very well done to all involved, and good luck for next week!
Reminder that there are 10 spaces available on an exciting course. The Raising Teens With Confidence is a 6-week course for parents/carers promoting positive mental health and emotional well-being in families. The course will run on Tuesday evenings from 6 – 8pm starting on 25 February at Broughton High School.

Our school library is looking to expand the selection of stock and we are looking for donations of good quality books; non-fiction texts for age 10+; David Walliams books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, Roald Dahl, Dog Man, Captain Underpants, Tom Gates books, football books, books about dance, Horrible Histories/Maths/Science, etc and books suitable for dyslexic learners of all abilities.

All new S1 students should report to the Assembly Hall at 8.30am tomorrow, Wednesday 14 Aug. Please bring a packed lunch or cash to buy lunch at the canteen. ParentPay should be set up in the next couple of days. Those on Free School Meals will receive their lunch.

Ahead of Results Day on Tuesday 6 August, the SQA has produced a new learner booklet called 'Your Results'.
The booklet contains information on all the support available to learners as they receive their results and consider next steps.
It includes: an overview of what to expect when receiving their results; details around certificates; frequently asked questions; how exams are marked; appeals information and more.
The SQA will include a hard copy along with the certificates and anyone who wants to read it before Results Day can download the digital version from the SQA website.
