📚 Why choose to send your child to our Montessori School?
We provide children at our Nursery and Primary School with outstanding Montessori education, a truly child-centered approach that encourages independence , curiousity, and hand-on learning from an early age.
Children learn at their own pace using carefully designed materials that build focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a beautifully calm, structured environment.
Mixed-age classrooms also support social development by allowing children to learn from and alongside one another, within warm and nurturing Montessori environments where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
The result is a nurturing space where children develop strong academic foundations alongside independence and a genuine love of learning đź’›

At The Montessori Nursery, the outdoors is seen as an extension of the classroom, not a break from learning 🌿✨
It offers rich, multi-sensory experiences that support children’s development, from building coordination, confidence and independence to encouraging emotional wellbeing and a deep respect for the natural world 💛

It's Eat Your Veg Day 🥦🥕🥒
At The Montessori Nursery School, snack time is about so much more than eating healthy foods, it's also an opportunity for children to build confidence and independence through practical life activities.
The children take pride in caring for themselves and contributing to their classroom community. They are empowered to be part of food selection as well as writing shopping lists. These hands-on, real life and purposeful experiences help develop fine motor skills and concentration, as well as creating a positive relationship with healthy eating!
There is always extra excitement when they've prepared the vegetables themselves ✨

At The Montessori Nursery, our classrooms are carefully designed as a “prepared environment” 🌿✨
Everything is thoughtfully arranged on low, accessible shelves so children can independently choose their own toys, books and learning materials. This freedom to select activities for themselves helps build confidence and independence without needing to wait for adult assistance đź’›

Today we are celebrating World Environment Day 🌎🌿
At the Montessori Nursery and Primary School, caring for the environment begins with small, meaningful moments every day across both our nursery and primary settings.
The children have been learning about the environment through hands-on activities, from making posters about recycling and how to sort materials to building bug hotels from recycled products, as well as making paper from cardboard.
The children in the Primary School take responsibility for their own outdoor growing area, while the Nursery children care for the raised beds within the nursery grounds 🌼
By nurturing nature in their own spaces, the children develop independence and a strong sense of responsibility for the world around them - values that grow alongside them every day.
