This week in Explorers, we have been busy as usual. We needed more road for our cars, so we drew our own road with chalk. Aren’t we inventive! We helped our friends to carry things, served our own lunch and splashed about in a huge puddle during the heavy rainfall. No such thing as bad weather! Our nursery bike needed fixed and being an enthusiastic bunch, we set to work. Our bike was fixed and we continued with our cycling. Have a lovely weekend everyone! 🌟🌈

Today we celebrated Miss Fishers up coming wedding. We want to wish her well in the future.

This week in Explorers we have been continuing to familiarise ourselves with routines and make new friends. We’ve loved the rain and jumping and splashing in puddles with our friends. We extended the play by getting our ducks and putting them in the puddles and pretending they were the Five Little Ducks from the nursery rhyme. We’ve shared ideas as we drew with chalk and we’ve explored what snails like to eat and how to care for them after finding one in our garden. See you all on Monday for more fun and learning. 🌟🌈

A warm welcome back to our existing families and a big hello and welcome to our new families! 🥰 We have been super busy in Explorers since the start of term. The children have been resuming old friendships and acquiring new ones. We’ve played at pirates and hunted for treasure, helped treat our friends in our hospital and shown off our fantastic hoopla hoop skills! We’ve also been helping in our garden as well and talking about what has grown and how to care for our garden. Look at the vegetables we grew! We used the potatoes to make wedges for snack. They were delicious! Have a great weekend and see you on Monday! 🌟

Our winner for our sunflower competition was Mercedesz!!! Well done to Mercedesz for winning with a whopping 36cm 🌻

A big thank you to James for sending us some pictures of his sunflower, it's looking amazing! I wonder how big it will get?

It would be lovely to see some of the other sunflowers too. You can send us some photos on the learning journals or here on messenger 🌻

The children from the discoverers and adventurers delivered some toys we no longer use and need in the nursery to the local church for the playgroup. The children in the nursery where very kind and helpful and agreed that it was nice to give people things you no longer use or need.

The discoverers have been using the outdoor sand to make cup cakes. We have been counting the candles as they go into the cakes. The boys and girls set the table for their very own cupcake party 🧁🧁
