There has been lots of conversation and speculation recently regarding new regulations that will require Therapists to hold a full accredited Level 4 qualifications to deliver Skin Needling and Skin Peeling treatments.

DO NOT PANIC!
Whilst we fully welcome great education and a minimum standard of training for these treatments there is still plenty of time to plan your education pathway to ensure you are working within your insurance requirements.

Investing in your future career will not only mean that you can safely treat your clients but you will be advancing your knowledge and skills to an extremely high standard; setting yourself apart as a true professional within our industry.

These courses have been designed to allow for flexible home learning for the theory units with attendance only required over 5 days for your induction, practical learning, mock assessments and then your final assessment day.

After months of preparation we are finally ready to launch our new iTEC Non-Medical Aesthetic Level 4 and 5 qualifications. We are the only provider of these highly recognised, and respected, qualifications in Scotland and you could be one of the first Therapists to proudly display these certificates in your treatment rooms. The above units contain a combination of anatomy and physiology theory and practical observations. Whilst some the above content may not be of interest to you in a practical sense, the theory elements of each unit will provide you with the necessary foundation knowledge to further your studies in your preferred area of interest.

This qualification is internationally recognised with both employers and insurance companies.
If you are seeking employment as a Beauty Therapist then most Employers will require you to have both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.

Our class sizes are kept small, just 4-6 Learners, to ensure a positive training experience. This course includes a mandatory minimum 80 hours of salon work experience with our sister business Zest Skin Spa.

The cost to complete both courses is £6450 inc vat. Individually the courses are: Level 2 £3240 inc vat and Level 3 £3600 inc vat. You may be eligible for funding, visit our website for details. Payment plans are available.

Our next intake for Level 2 is in May with attendance required every Wednesday and Thursday. Level 3 would follow in September with attendance required every Monday and Tuesday. Following this our intakes will be September 2022 and February 2023 for which we are booking Learners in now.

What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) only? RPL only is a method of assessment that considers whether a learner can demonstrate that they can meet the assessment requirements for a unit through knowledge, understanding or skills that they already possess and do not need to develop through a course of learning.
