ISSFT Summer Schools

ISSFT Summer Schools Award-winning International Summer Enrichment Programs for Teenagers from Around the World.

Our award-winning International Summer School for Teens offers students aged 13–18 the opportunity to study and live in two of the UK’s most inspiring university destinations — Oxford and St Andrews — during July and August. Hosted at the University of Oxford and the University of St Andrews, ISSFT provides a safe, fully supervised residential experience that combines academic excellence with personal growth and international friendship. Students follow our distinctive dual-learning model, pairing a morning academic subject with an afternoon elective for the duration of their stay. Academic programmes include:
English Language & Communication, Global Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Medicine, Pre-IB, and Extended Essay Preparation. Electives include:
Golf, Tennis, Sports Leadership, Theatre & Performance, Photography, and AI & Coding — delivered by specialist instructors using outstanding university facilities, including sports halls, tennis centres, playing fields, and dedicated training spaces. Together, Oxford and St Andrews offer two complementary experiences: one rooted in historic academic tradition, the other in a close-knit campus setting surrounded by nature — both united by ISSFT’s commitment to quality, care, and global community.

What we set out to create a summer that would stay with our students long after they returned home.

Looking back on the past few weeks, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. From inspiring academic moments and unforgettable adventures to lifelong friendships and memories that will be cherished for years to come, this summer has been everything we hoped it would be and more.

To every student, parent, member of staff, tutor, and partner who made ISSFT 2026 so special, thank you. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and energy are what brought this experience to life.

Although this chapter has come to an end, we know it’s only the beginning of many exciting journeys ahead. We will miss every one of you, and we can’t wait to welcome as many familiar faces as possible back next summer.

Until then, thank you for being part of something truly unforgettable. 🫶

The biggest questions deserve the broadest perspectives.

Inside Oxford’s historic Town Hall, our students tackled one of today’s most important debates: Does artificial intelligence disproportionately benefit certain members of society?

Representing countries from across the world, they challenged ideas, defended arguments, and learned from perspectives shaped by different cultures and experiences. It’s these conversations that develop confident communicators, critical thinkers, and globally minded leaders.

At ISSFT, we believe that academic excellence is about learning to think, question, and engage with the issues shaping our future.

Medicine starts with curiosity. 🩺🔬
Our students became disease detectives as they investigated microbes and pathogens using UV black lights, exploring how germs can spread through everyday surfaces and why infection prevention plays such an important role in public health.
By combining scientific theory with practical investigation, students gained hands-on experience while developing the critical thinking and observational skills that are at the heart of medicine.
At ISSFT, it’s never too early to discover your passion for medicine.

A journey through nearly a thousand years of history. 🏰✨

Our students stepped back in time as they discovered medieval architecture, historic grounds, and the stories that have shaped one of England’s most iconic landmarks.

At ISSFT, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Experiences like these bring history to life, spark curiosity, and give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture and heritage of the UK.

There’s nothing better than getting outside, getting active, and enjoying some friendly competition after a day of academic work. From big plays to even bigger celebrations, kickball brought plenty of energy, laughter, and team spirit to the evening.

At ISSFT, student life is all about finding the perfect balance between academic excellence and unforgettable experiences, because some of the best memories are made on the playing field.

Who knew kickball could get this competitive?
