Great to see work supported by our Anti-Racist Literacy Framework recognised by His Majesty's Inspectorate of Education.

Inverkip Primary School has been highlighted for its use of anti-racist storytelling and digital animation to empower pupil voice.

Developed through antiracisted.scot by Scotland’s Development Education Centres, the framework supports educators and learners to read, write, listen and talk across any genre using an Anti-Racist lens.

This interactive session takes place tomorrow and will give teachers practical ideas for exploring Refugee Week through a data lens.

Delivered in partnership with the Data Education in Schools team, the classroom-ready activities support learning around refugees and migration. There’s a strong focus on key terminology, respectful dialogue, and media literacy - looking at how data can be used (or misused) to shape narratives and perspectives.

This interactive session will help teachers explore issues around refugees and migration, empowering learners with data literacy skills.
