We provide support using evidenced based strategies to help children with communciation or behaviour

At Keys For Learning we provide individualised programmes for families who have children with autism and other related learning difficulties. Our programmes are based on the sound principles and procedures derived from Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA); scientifically the most effective approach for tackling a wide range of behavioural issues and specifically autism symptoms and now finally advocated within the NHS SIGN guidelines. Our goal is to unlock your child's potential and give them the tools to learn a range of vital life skills such as communication, play, self help skills and more. We also provide behaviour intervention plans for any sort of behaviours that interfere with learning. We are a team of dedicated professionals and have a passion to help every child reach their own potential. We have supervisors based in Glasgow and Edinburgh but within reason we can provide services across Scotland.

We have a new block of social skills clubs starting next Friday the 28th 🙌

For children age 3-9 years who struggle with social communication and play skills we run small group sessions led by a qualified speech and language therapist.

Sessions are structured to teach specific social skills, dependent of each child’s needs, in a nurturing and fun environment.

Really really sad to be saying a final bye bye to our wonderful therapy room at Beetroot Sauvage today 😢

It’s been such a lovely space for our 1:1 therapy sessions and social skills clubs in Edinburgh for the last 3.5 years.

But all good things must come to an end…

And thankfully we have a new home at Kin Collective down in Leith 😊

We’ll be there starting this Friday for our social skills clubs and look forward to introducing the space to all our kiddies.

It’s right next to Leith primary school across the road from Leith links so plenty of space for a run around either before or after your childs session plus there’s free on street parking - woohoo 🙌

We’re now taking bookings for new children to join our social skills clubs for the next term starting October 28th so if your child could benefit from being taught some social skills in a nurturing and small group setting DM us to chat more.

A lovely first day back at social skills clubs yesterday welcoming back some familiar faces and meeting some newbies too 😍

Yesterday was about getting back into the swing of things, playing some favourite games and catching up with one another sharing news from the Summer holidays.

We also had the opportunity to introduce the children to our new helper Jo who was fantastic and just slotted right in 😁

We need you!

We are looking for a very special, reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist at our social skills clubs in Edinburgh on Fridays at Beetroot Sauvage.

Starting August 26th and running during school term times you'll be required from 11:30-5:30 to assist our lead therapist deliver quality and fun sessions for children with social skill deficits.

This is a paid position however, you'll be sub-contracted as self-employed. Hourly rate is £10ph and on the job training will be provided.

This is a wonderful opportunity for psychology or teaching students or anyone with childcare or educational experience.
