NEWS > Welcome to the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute

New name for ECCI reflects renewed focus on creating a resilient, thriving and climate neutral Scotland and wider world.

The Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, with Executive Director Prof Dave Reay and Co-director Dr Kate Crowley at the helm, will continue to expand upon over a decade of climate focused action - working in partnership across research, communities, policy and business to find and implement place-based solutions for tackling the challenge of climate change.

NEWS > Nine launch their bid for success with ECCI's Climate-KIC Accelerator
The eager entrepreneurs demonstrate the UK has a significant role in developing the innovations needed for a global .
Innovators join the online programme from afar afield as the Isle of Skye and Aboyne in the north of Scotland, to London and Dublin across the borders and seas.
Innovations range from a zero-carbon rural transport system soon to launch in Skye, to a housing retrofit system aided by 3D modelling and a super-fast carbon measurement software tool for SMEs.
