Established in Colinton Mains/Fairmilehead in 1991, classes are in Tap, Modern and Highland dancing.
Our aim is to promote a love of dance and creativity, giving students an opportunity to take part in fun & friendly classes. We run dance classes on Thursdays and Saturdays at Oxgangs Neighbourhood Centre (71, Firrhill Drive, EH13 9EU). Children can be enrolled from age 3 for Nursery Tap classes where our emphasis is on fun, basic steps and rhythm. Modern dance and Highland dance classes are offer

🌟💃 So proud of all of our talented Tap, Modern, Highland and Scottish National dancers at our BATD dance exams on Sat.
👏 All of our little Starlite dancers have passed & have lovely comments about their dancing.
👏 For our graded exams, 94% of dancers presented have achieved the very top mark.

🌻 Little reminder that the ever popular “Calendar Girls” will be staged by Edinburgh People’s Theatre at Church Hill Theatre, Morningside from 27-30 May and there are still some tickets left.
🌻 Our talented dance mum, Carol, who plays Chris in the EPT production, writes ….. “we’ll also be selling a charity calendar (n**e, of course!!), to raise money for Maggie’s Edinburgh and Blood Cancer UK….folk can still buy one even if you can’t attend the show”.

🏴 🌟 Delighted to say that our dance school has been invited to perform Highland Dancing at the “Cultural Heritage Live” event at The Gyle Shopping Centre next month.
🏴 🌟 Andrew, dancer Ailsa’s brother, will open the event, playing his bagpipes, then our Highland Dance performance will follow.
