The draw for our fundraising raffle is just before midday TODAY closing our Stockbridge Charity Walk!

However we are NOT meeting on Saunders Street - grab your wet weather gear & a brolly ☂️ & join us in the school hall at Stockbridge Primary School for:

9:15 📝 Registration

9:45 🤸‍♀️ Movement workout (20min)

Followed by guided walk to Inverleith Park 🗺

Then back to our school hall for the 🎟 raffle draw

There'll be a team at Saunders Street directing you to Stockbridge Primary School (just a short walk away next to Stockbridge Library).

Meet at 9:30am on Saunders Street for a FREE family friendly guided walk to Inverleith Park 🗺 👆🏻 Families, neighbours & friends in our school community can join! There'll be opportunity to picnic & play in the park afterwards 🤸‍♂️ 🧺

All funds raised will shared between LifeCare Edinburgh (supporting the local community) & Stockbridge Primary Parent Council (going back into educational resources & experiences for our school).

Stockbridge Charity Walk Join Stockbridge Primary families and neighbours for a fun community walk supporting school programmes and LifeCare Centre!

📢 NEW TRUSTEE NEEDED for our school charity!

🦢 Friends of Stockbridge School (FoSS) exists to enhance childrens' learning experience at Stockbridge Primary.

In recent years FoSS have funded or subsidised the following:

P6 Epic Days
Scottish Opera Days for P5 & P6
P7 Year Books & Leavers disco
P1 & P2 pedagogy resources
Class trips for various year groups
New football & basketball nets
Line painting of our playground

These are resources & experiences that the
children would otherwise not have had or
would have been paid for by parents. As a school & as a Parent Council we are extremely thankful for all the support FoSS gives us.

FoSS is a separate organisation to Stockbridge Primary Parent Council & performs a different role. As FoSS is a registered charity they can apply for
grant funding and can receive donations via
GAYE.

Could you be an additional parent
trustee? Ideally someone with
fundraising experience, who could offer
guidance & help with grant applications &
bolstering FoSS resources. Time commitment is minimal & flexible with a couple of Trustee meetings a year to discuss funds & how they should be spent.

Join us next Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 at Stockbridge Library to hear a short reading from Lamb's Tales from Shakespeare and design puppets from The Tempest! This event will be suitable for ages 9+.

No need to book in advance.
