📞0131 322 6202 At St Margarets Nursery and Preschoolour staff are dedicated to ensuring your child has the best opportunities available to them throughout our different rooms.We understand how important the first couple of years are for your child's development and that is why our staff are fully trained and devoted to taking care of your child. Our caring staff will discuss with you about your child's needs in great detail to enable us to provide the best level of care for your child as they settle into nursery life. In the baby room we take care of children aged from 0 to approximately 12/14 months. When your child is up and confident on their feet they move on to the Tweenie room and it is there that they stay until they are 2 years old. We then move your child into the toddler room and they stay in this room until they are 3. Once they are 3 they make the transition into our preschool group which is for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Unfortunately, Famly is currently experiencing technical issues. They have identified the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

As a result, some information on the app today may be incorrect or missing, including sign in/out times, food logs, observations and other daily updates. Please don’t worry if anything appears inaccurate.

Our staff team will be keeping written records throughout the day and will provide a full handover at collection time. If there is anything you would like to know before then, please contact the nursery on 0131 667 0778 or email [email protected] and we will be happy to help.

✨ Goodbye Until 2027 ✨

This week we say goodbye and a very special good luck to our wonderful Parent Co-ordinator, Laura, as she begins her maternity leave.

Laura has been a valued and much loved part of St Margaret’s Nursery & Pre-school for the past 10 years. Her dedication, warmth, organisation and support for our families have made a lasting impact on everyone.

We send all our love and best wishes to Laura and her husband Max as they prepare to welcome their baby - you both will be amazing parents! We are very much looking forward to meeting the newest member of their family in May. 👶🏼🍼🤍✨

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who popped in this morning for a chat, a hot drink, and a treat! ☕🍰 We had such a lovely time together, and it was wonderful to start the day with so many smiles. 💚

We’ll be here again tomorrow morning, and due to the fun we had today, we’re adding an extra morning on Thursday too! 🎉

We’re excited to be hosting a Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning in our nursery reception at Craigmillar Park, and we’d love to see our nursery parents and children’s families there!

Tuesday 30th September & Wednesday 1st October, 8:00-9:00am
