We're asking about mobile phone use in schools, social media, educational technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in schools.

Your response will help to shape Connect’s submission to the Scottish Government’s recently-launched consultation on restricting mobile phones in schools as well as ensuring parent and carer voices are heard in future national conversations about children and young people’s online lives and online learning.

The survey closes on 5 October 2026.

Connect - Supporting Partnerships in Education are hosting a great session with Into Film (intofilm.org) who offers young people, teachers, career advisers and parents information, advice and resources to learn more about the variety of roles within this broad industry. This aligns with their work providing resources, training and opportunities for teachers using film in the classroom and supporting young people in making films.
