Acknowledging all the feelings is key to my values and practise. My father died suddenly when I was a child, some people we knew, good people, found it to painful to acknowledge our grief and literally crossed the road to avoid my family. I don’t condem them, however those experiences made it part of my life’s work to see pain and acknowledge it gently with compassion. This article explains why and how we can all do this. ❤️
When teaching and practicing authentically, we can acknowledge suffering in a way that opens the door to resiliency, satisfaction, and joy.
