CLOSURE OF PLAYGROUP
As from THURSDAY 8th OCTOBER 2026
It is with great sadness that we must let you all know that Gylemuir Community Playgroup will close from 8th October.
This is due to very low numbers of children and rising running costs, Gylemuir Community Playgroup is no longer able to continue.
We have done all that we can to try and keep going for all our children but due to falling numbers and no signs that this will change we have no money to continue our service.
We have had to take the very sad decision that after 20 years of Playgroup and 100s of children and parents using our service, we cannot continue to survive. We have no option but to close.

We learned bees live in a hive, they work hard to help flowers and they make honey 🍯.
We enjoyed a bee themed tuff tray, painting, gluing and playdough with bees, hives and flower shapes. 🍯 🐝

Annual Football Card Fundraiser ⚽️

Your change to WIN £200!
We have a Football scratch card, £5 per team £200 to the winner with £200 to playgroup to buy new resources.

Fundraising is essential in playgroup to support the purchase of resources and equipment, we do not receive any funding or grants so to enable us to continue to buy and replace resources we ask for your support.

The winner will be announced when all teams have been sold, please let us know which teams you would like, cash can be paid to the girls in playgroup.
