‘Who’s the Fool Now’ by Victoria Lopez (Shakespeare Fools) – A physical dark comedy-clowning show, where as soon as you laugh, you will be thinking if laughing about that is acceptable. This piece relates to racism, sexism, patriarchy, misogyny, and mainly Power. To explore who has power, how do we use it, and why do we give power to others. ‘Who’s The Fool Now?’ puts on the table whether the cast is the fool, the audience, or every one of us.
‘A Chance Beyond the Sea’ by Ed Clancy (Theatre 2026) – Trapped in a hunk of titanium at the sea floor, 5 men must find a way to contact the mainland. With limited oxygen remaining and tensions arising, will they find hope? Or must they dive deeper? An existential and absurd political performance revolving around the Oceangate submarine implosion in 2023, along with the Messenia boat tragedy of the same year.
‘Void’ by Seven Theatre – ‘Void’ looks into the effects of memory loss of a single character by exploring the fragments of their life and details that make them who they are. It is an ambient, moving performance that uses live music to create an atmospheric, physical story of who the character really is before all that was lost.
‘Get the F*** Off my Head’ by Billy Abbey – A performance lecture about baldness, masculinity, and the way in which we view ourselves based on society’s expectations and standards.
