I hope everyone has enjoyed the summer, for what we have had atleast!

Parent and Toddlers will be back on the 17th August and I am looking forward to seeing you all. Hopefully we will have some new families along with the familiar ones aswell.
On that note it will be myself running the group now so thought I would do a wee intoduction for you all....

I am Valerie or you can call me Val, I am mum to 3 children - 15, 9 & 3 (parent carer to my eldest son) some of you will have seen/met my daughter Kassidy before the summer at the playgroup.
My middle son used to also attend the toddler group when he was wee so I know how vital these groups can be for us all.

I never would have thought that I would be running 1 of these but things have went full circle and now the time seems right.

This Thursday is our last toddler group session before the school summer holidays. The group will resume on Thursday 17th Aug at 9am. New hands are taking over the Parkgrove Parent and Toddler Group from August. It has been a pleasure to run this group for the last 5 years but it’s time to move on. Thanks to everyone who has been attending please do come back in august and invite your friends with wee ones.

Hello, toddlers is back open this Thursday from 9am til 11am. Hope to see everyone there!!

Sorry to say the group will be close tomorrow due to a family bereavement and will be closed the following Thursday due to the Jubilee. See you on the 9th June.

Good morning!

As a result of the new guidance I have had to check with the Munro Centre as to what to do about toddlers tomorrow. They have not received any guidance about activities not being allowed to go ahead so currently our last toddlers session will go ahead.

We do ask that you are extra cautious and adhere to wearing masks and sanitising. Chairs will be spaced out more to allow for social distancing. If you feel unwell or may have any symptoms please stay at home. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their Christmas with their families so please make the right decision for you and your family.

If the Munro centre receives any more guidance then I shall post on here if the plans change.

Just want to make you aware that a wee one who attended yesterday’s group has broke out with chicken pox. If your child has not already had those lovely red spots I just wanted to give you the heads up to keep an eye out! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻.

The toddler group will not be open tomorrow as my son’s are ill and I cannot be in two places at once! The group will be open again next week!

Again if anyone is able to help take over this group please get in touch as situations like this is easier when there’s another person able to open the group!

WE ARE OPENING!!!!!

Our group will start back on Thursday 16th Sept at 9am til 11am. So excited to see old faces and hopefully new faces. We will be introducing you to Megan who will be taking over our lovely group.

You will be asked to fill out the track and trace as you enter and masks will need to be worn when moving around. Chairs will be spread out to allow for safe distancing.

If you are thinking of attending could you comment below just to give us a rough idea of how many people are interested please?

ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello everyone! Park grove parent and toddler group has finally been given the green light to reopen next month!!!

As many of you know Elaine and I have ran this group for quite a few years. We feel it is time to pass our lovely group on to someone else. If you know of anyone who has the spare time to volunteer on a Thursday morning 9-11am please contact us ASAP. It’s a really easy job and great way to meet new parents/grandparents/ childminders.

We use the Munro Centre next to Clermiston Primary School.

The group has ran for many years it would be sad if it couldn’t remain open 😢

Hi Everyone. Unfortunately I am going to have to cancel Toddlers this week (Thur 19th) as my son is unwell and will be off school all week, so I won’t be able to open the group. Really sorry for any inconvenience caused. Hoping to be open again as usual next week but will keep you posted if the situation changes. Thanks, Elaine x

Toddlers this Thursday is closed due to the hall being used for voting. We will be back on the 19th for our Christmas Party! 🎅🎄

It's nearly Christmas time!! Our toddler group will be having our Christmas party on the 19th Dec 9 til 11am. If you can come along please write your child's name on our list the cost will be £2 each to receive a little gift. We are going to have some party food if you can contribute some food we also have a list for you to put your name on. Kids can dress up or wear something christmassy!

Hi all our group will have a stall at the Drumbrae gala on saturday the 25th of May. We would be very grateful for any donations of toys, books, games etc (good excuse for a clear out!) . The money raised will go towards keeping the doors of our group open! Please speak to Rebecca or Elaine if you have anything to hand in or you can drop off to the toddler group on a Thursday at the Munro centre by Clermiston school 9am til 11am.
