Open rehearsal for performance pilot, presented over Zoom for

10 March 2022, 7-8pm

An exciting opportunity to see creative work by our CDCS colleague Bev Hood!

It’s all about the feelings is an ā€˜open rehearsal’ for a digital performance pilot looking at AI and emotional recognition systems, presented over Zoom. The event will playfully interrogate how AI maps actors’ emotive expression, within different acting techniques, as a way to unpick complex issues about AI’s reductive methods of standardisation, categorisation and bias, in amplifying privileges and inequalities around race, s*x, gender, age and ability.
