An exciting opportunity to see creative work by our CDCS colleague Bev Hood!
Itās all about the feelings is an āopen rehearsalā for a digital performance pilot looking at AI and emotional recognition systems, presented over Zoom. The event will playfully interrogate how AI maps actorsā emotive expression, within different acting techniques, as a way to unpick complex issues about AIās reductive methods of standardisation, categorisation and bias, in amplifying privileges and inequalities around race, s*x, gender, age and ability.
