I am Yvette Orieji Hunwick and I teach pottery hand building and throwing as well as sculpture in clay as well as create my own pieces for sale. I have BA honours in Fine Art-Ceramics and African Languages and Literature from University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA and have been teaching some very talented students for the past 17 years in Edinburgh, Scotland

I have finally established my own studio, The Edinburgh Pottery Studio after many years of teaching for other institutions. Here, I hope have time to continue creating my own ceramics and have built an affordable, well stocked and inspiring space for budding potters, connected with my neighbourhood by offering subsidised courses for residents and offer a variety of courses to cover many ceramic disciplines through carefully crafted classes.
