Freda O’Byrneobyrne Tragic Carpet Visual Theatre

Freda has been a part of the EAS family for a few years now and is now a vital part in delivering our Core Skills Course to entry level students. Freda handles them with care, takes great detail in shaping the courses to suit the group.

Freda has also brought their puppetry skills to one off weekend courses, to our shows and even used the studio to rehearse for their current show.

Freda is a doer - which works well at EAS. Freda brings great ideas to the table and we love working them out and creating wonderful things… Freda has some INCREDIBLE ideas for the coming year so watch this space!

Calum joins our EAS Family as our new EAS YOUTH TUTOR.

From the first time we met and spoke to Calum it was clear his passions aligned with ours at EAS. He is committed to offering a wonderful development programme for our youth classes and is coming with knowledge, experience and the energy to create some incredible things with our established youth groups.

Jen has been an integral part of the EAS family for many years. Helping shape and create new courses and workshop.

At EAS we believe in nurturing the arts in Scotland, creating our own work, motivating creatives to collobrate and looking after artists rights. Jen has helped us uphold these views by developing and running our EAN (Edinburgh Actors Network) & our ATCL Speech and Drama Diplomi.

Jen is not just a tutor at EAS, she is part of the foundation and family!

We are going to try and share more shows over the coming week but this afternoon a few of the team when to see YOU AND ME (and whoever comes next) at Summerhall Arts (3pm in Old Lab space)

This show is STUNNING. Staring Keron Day and revolves around his life and experience with PAs.

It is a really is a gorgeous, comedic, relevant and truthful piece.
