), this month reminded me that happiness is often hidden in the little details of everyday life.â€ïž

Most people think theyâre âbad at Frenchâ. Theyâre not. Theyâve just been taught in a way that:
âprioritises perfection over communication
âgrammar over expression
âfear over curiosity
And that creates a cycle:
đ overthinking
đ staying silent
đ losing confidence
So before we even start learning, we have to unlearn
â
Unlearn the rules that block you.
â
Unlearn the fear of mistakes.
â
Unlearn the idea that you need to be âreadyâ to speak.
Thatâs exactly what we do in my classes. And thatâs why my students start speaking, reading and enjoying French way faster than they expected.
đŹ Tell me in the comments:
Whatâs one thing you had to unlearn in language learning?

Advanced level learners living outside of a french speaking country (B2/C1/C2) often have a ton of resources at their disposal to keep in touch with the language - books to read, films in V.O. to watch, podcasts to enjoy. However, all of these resources are passive methods of language exposure. There are all lacking ONE essential thing : an active way to put your French into practice - through conversation & writing !
These comic book workshops for advanced level participants arenât just book clubs. We delve deeper into the story, we indulge in important conversations about thought-provoking topics that actually plague our contemporary society. The participants also get to express themselves creatively in the form of debates, monologues, letter writing, alternative scenarios, and making their own comic strips ! đ
Moreover, you also learn about French & Francophone culture using multiple resources other than the comic book itself - youâre basically looking at the world through your French lens. đ€
And all of this while enriching your vocabulary and grammar in the most natural way possible ,without you even realising it. If youâre looking to learn or enrich your French differently, and looking to get out of your comfort zone and thinking out of the box, these workshops are the perfect place to do it - in a safe, stimulating and community-driven environment â€ïž
đšSo DM me now for more information. We only have a few spots left ! đš
