🇫🇷Mai a été rempli de petits bonheurs simples, de moments de douceur et de jolies surprises.🥰

Entre les tulipes multicolores, les derniers pétales de cerisier, les lectures au soleil sur mon balcon, les rencontres inspirantes, les couchers de soleil aux couleurs de barbe à papa et les nouvelles bandes dessinées qui sont venues agrandir ma PAL (comme si elle en avait besoin 😅), ce mois m’a rappelé à quel point le bonheur se cache souvent dans les petits détails du quotidien.❤️

Voici quelques-uns des moments qui ont illuminé mon mois de mai. ☀️

🇬🇧May was filled with simple joys, gentle moments, and lovely surprises.🥰

Between the colourful tulips, the last cherry blossom petals, sunny reading breaks on my balcony, inspiring encounters, cotton-candy skies at sunset, and a few new comic books that somehow found their way onto my already overflowing TBR pile (as if it needed any help growing 😅), this month reminded me that happiness is often hidden in the little details of everyday life.❤️

Here are a few of the moments that brightened my month of May. ☀️

En littérature, les personnages ne “parlent” presque jamais.
Ils devisent, jasent, baragouinent, bafouillent …

Le choix du verbe change immédiatement :
✨ l’ambiance
✨ l’émotion
✨ la relation entre les personnages
✨ la manière dont on imagine la scène

Dire « elle bafouille » n’a pas le même effet que « elle parle ».

👉 Enrichir son vocabulaire, ce n’est pas utiliser des mots compliqués pour impressionner.

C’est apprendre à être plus précis, plus nuancé, plus vivant en français. 🇫🇷

Most people think they’re “bad at French”. They’re not. They’ve just been taught in a way that:
❌prioritises perfection over communication
❌grammar over expression
❌fear over curiosity

And that creates a cycle:
👉 overthinking
👉 staying silent
👉 losing confidence

So before we even start learning, we have to unlearn
✅ Unlearn the rules that block you.
✅ Unlearn the fear of mistakes.
✅ Unlearn the idea that you need to be “ready” to speak.

That’s exactly what we do in my classes. And that’s why my students start speaking, reading and enjoying French way faster than they expected.
