At SilverHub, based in the heart of Leith, we believe everyone has the creative potential to become a jewellery maker. Our small classes are designed to help you build confidence, develop traditional skills, and find your own artistic voice, all guided by our team of experienced jewellery designers who are as passionate about teaching as they are about their craft.

We truly enjoy seeing our students create something beautiful with their own hands for the first time. Here, Gulia is making her first stone set ring. 💚

We’re running day and evening courses, taster workshops, make your own wedding ring workshops, and a one year foundation course for those who want to dive deeper.

What makes our One Year Course so special? Lisa Arnott, our Lead Tutor, explains it perfectly.

With a maximum of eight students, our one-year programme offers an intimate, focused learning environment where makers can truly develop their voice, visual language, material research, and creative practice. And with a close-knit cohort, the peer support is just as valuable as the teaching.

Throughout the year, students build a strong portfolio, develop a wide range of technical skills, and create work towards their final jewellery exhibition collection. Our Master Classes, delivered by established designers and makers including Bryony Knox, Linda Lewin, Sheila McDonald, Lisa Arnott and Jessica Howarth, give students the chance to explore specialist areas that complement the core programme.

Our graduates have been offered places or gone on to degree and postgraduate courses at some of the UK's most respected institutions, including Edinburgh College of Art, Glasgow School of Art, Duncan of Jordanstone, Aberdeen University, Brighton University, Sheffield Hallam University, and Brimingham School of Jewellery.

Applications are open now. The course starts 17 August 2026.
