Last but not least, we welcome back the wonderful Jan to PARTY AT THE PALACE 2027!
Jan has many years of dancing ballet, modern lyrical and stage experience, along with BBO, ISTD and RAD training (up to Advanced) at the Hammond School in Chester. Later in her dance career Jan became a Member of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD).
Jan will be offering a ballet taster class which is always a popular, lighthearted experience designed for social and partner dancers. Known for blending classical training with a fun, accessible twist, her sessions typically feature "ballet basics with a boogie beat and lyrical laughter".
We look forward to welcoming her back to Pitlochry this February.

Next up at PARTY AT THE PALACE 2027 we have the return of Cathy & Michael of Vintage Tap and Swing!
Based in Edinburgh, Cathy & Mike teach regular workshops and classes locally, throughout the UK and abroad, inspired by the pioneers of swing dancing from the early 20th century. They started swing dancing in the 90s, in the early days of the re-birth of Lindy Hop. Their aim is to be true to the roots of swing dancing, in particular the Lindy Hop, and to pass on their knowledge of this amazing dance form. They have been so lucky to have been taught by some of the original dancers from the Swing era, such as Frankie Manning, Dawn Hampton, Sugar Sullivan, The Jiving Lindy Hoppers, Lennart Westerlund and the Rhythm Hotshots. In addition to Lindy Hop, they also teach Collegiate S**g, St Louis S**g, and Balboa, Tap, and Boogie Woogie.
Their classes are always great fun, bringing different dance style and routines that are always very popular!

And bringing the joy of West Coast Swing to PARTY AT THE PALACE 2027, it's the one and only Catriona Wiles!
Catriona has studied dance all her life. She began with Ballet aged 3 and moved on to train extensively in a range of partner dances including Country, Salsa, Ballroom, Latin, Modern Jive and Argentine Tango.
Over the last 20+ years, Catriona has taken the UK social dance scene by storm, successfully running multiple weekly classes, courses, monthly workshops, freestyles, ICE socials, private lessons and special events in and around London and the UK, and appearing at dance events globally. She runs a weekly class in Farnham which has become one of the busiest class venues in the UK. She loves the musicality, freedom and intricate footwork which comprise West Coast Swing along with the flexibility to dance to a wide range of music. Her expert tuition thoroughly covers all the basics needed to get people onto the social floor and beyond and she remains one of the most sought after and respected teaching professionals within the UK partner dance community.
We are excited to welcome her back in 2027, along with her SwayD UK dance shoes and boots!

Next up - very excited to welcome Jay Chuan Herng Low & Anna to PARTY AT THE PALACE 2027!

Jay and Anna are top-level Modern Jive dancers in the UK, with multiple national and international titles. In particular, they are the Open Champions of the Ceroc Pan Asia Championship 2024, UK Ceroc Champs 2025, and South West Ceroc Champs 2026.
Anna trained in ballet for 17 years, with additional experience in jazz and contemporary. Jay began with street and hip hop at university before discovering Modern Jive. Together, they're the real life couple from "Save the Last Dance."
Most recently, Jay and Anna were invited to teach on the Gold Coast in Australia. Having just returned, they are bringing fresh energy and inspiration back to their UK workshops. Known for their fluid connection and clean, versatile style, they love exploring musicality, from emotional lyrical tracks to funky grooves, and can't wait to share their passion with you.

And next up, we are delighted to have Mevans Dance (Matt Evans) join us for PARTY AT THE PALACE 2027!
Teaching since 2009, Mevans has made dance his career; striving to improve technique, musicality and creative movement in dancers to help them become competent and confident.
Mevans is all about performance! World Modern Jive Championship triple winner and holding the Grand Masters and Open winner title in many other Championships (over 110 trophies at last count!) Matt is no stranger to getting the crowd going with his unique styling, relentless energy and diverse abilities. Despite these glory stories Matt has had a long, humbling road to success and appreciates that everyone has their own journey with challenges along the way.
Over the years Matt has dipped into many styles of dance and uses different styles to choreograph routines. His thrice-a-year Performance Workshops encourage groups to perform their best to create inspirational videos; that don’t just demonstrate the joys of dance, but also that anyone can do it!

We can't wait to welcome him to Pitlochry this February!
