in life. We understand the importance of giving babies and your children
a secure, healthy and loving environment enabling them to develop with
confidence, self-esteem and independence to face future challenges. The home and, later on, school will probably be the two most important
settings affecting your child, but obviously there are others that can
have a positive influence. Chapter One Childcare nurseries provide
opportunities for learning and educational development, but will also help
your child to cultivate social skills and this is perhaps just as important. Children need to be included and have a sense of belonging – a feeling of
being welcome and of being important and valued if they are to feel
happy and thrive.

How adorable are these hand knitted woodland animals!

Our playrooms at The Country Park Nursery are called Bunnies, Hedgehogs, Badgers and Foxes!

These are a perfect fit, we love them. Huge thank you to the lovely lady who knitted these for us!

We are going to use these as our settling in mascots for children when they start with us!

I am sure they will be well loved by the children whilst they are used to support transition :-)

Every Month at The Country Park Nursery we carry out Quality Assurance on different areas. This month was Mark Making.

We have been busy reflecting on this aspect of learning and enhancing our areas to make them accessible and inviting for our children.

It has been lovely to see the new spark of interest in mark making the children have demonstrated as they engaged with this area.
