We have been talking about bugs and insects all week, exploring our garden to see what we could find.

Greenhill ~ Beanies

After a walk around the links looking out for signs of spring, the beanies made their own daffodils to brighten up their room 🌷🌻🌼🌸

They used colourful pieces of paper and glue, developing their fine motor skills and coordination skills whilst making their lovely creations.

We are extremely lucky to have Portobello beach on our door step.... 🏖☀️
Yesterday, preschool did their own “risk assessment” before heading out and about .... the group were aware that “risk” was something potentially dangerous - they decided these might include crossing the roads , cyclists and sharks in the sea 🦈🤣 - the benefits included fresh air and “fun” .... While on the beach the group enjoyed mark making in the sand and lots of role play finding buried treasure 💰💛

We absolutely love reading all things and have been obsessing over all of her wonderful books📚

We love sitting as a group and reading books together but our children also love to sit quietly by themselves quietly reading to themselves✨

We also loved this visual which posted and thought we would share too. It teaches children so many different lessons when reading aloud and they can get so much from it.
