On or around the 11th of November every year, we celebrate Martinmas with our lantern festival. We had a puppet show, took our lanterns for a wander around the park, before we had some biscuits and tea in the garden. What a beautiful evening it was.

Dear Rowanberry community.

Since our dear founder Sarah Ann passed away last month we have been working diligently to keep Rowanberry alive so more children can experience the wonderful nurturing space that Sarah Ann created.

Bram, Sarah Ann's husband, graciously took on the legal responsibility of Rowanberry which will allow Rowanberry to continue, grow and thrive in the years to come.

We have a wonderful new manager, Synnove Frankel, who not only studied the Steiner early years training with Sarah Ann but was also friends with her for 20 years, and has many years experience working with children.

We also have a small team of committed childcare assistants who have done an amazing job of keeping everything running for the wonderful children and families that Rowanberry serves.

The last few months have not been easy but we hope all our families will agree that we have done our best to make sure that the children still receive the high level of care and attention that we always strive to provide.

From October 1st Rowanberry Mini Kindy will close and Rowanberry Kindergarten Ltd will officially open.

It's always sad to say goodbye but we are happy knowing that the children leaving us are ready for the next step in their educational journey ❤️
