Papua New Guinea 51st Independence - Choral Evensong at Westminster Abbey. Taking place (not the 16th this year) on Tuesday, 15th September - 4.45pm for 5.00pm.

High Commissioner, HE Betty Palaso invites PNG Nationals, other Pacific Islanders, and friends of Papua to attend. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The British High Commission was delighted to host a farewell reception for this year's Commonwealth and Chevening Scholarship recipients as they prepare to embark on their studies in the UK.

The evening celebrated their achievements, leadership potential and commitment to creating positive change.

We wish them every success and look forward to the impact they will make in Fiji and beyond.

Shianne has been selected to pursue an MSc in Sustainability, Energy and Development at Durham University through the UK Government's prestigious Chevening Awards (FCDO) Scholarship.

This opportunity will strengthen her expertise in sustainable development, energy systems, and policy, equipping her to help address critical development challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future for Papua New Guinea.
