Today saw the delivery of the very first Cora’s Dragons in-person Trauma Responsive Training! 🥰
Sadly didn’t get any photos during the full days sessions, although did manage to get a quick snap at the end with a couple of the VIPs who attended.
It’s wonderful to be supporting an incredible group of women & men doing amazing work in the world and I’m very excited to see Cora’s Dragons expand across various different areas, with parents, foster carers, teachers and sports coaches helping children overcome the effects of trauma as a result of childhood adversity.

Children who are born into homes where they are subject to abuse/ neglect, domestic violence, alcohol/drug dependency, mental illness, loss of parent through divorce, abandonment, death or incarceration alongside other adversities such as poverty, racial discrimination and bullying and who do NOT have a healthy stable supportive adult in their life to help them navigate those adversities go on to develop trauma, this trauma effects:
📣 - their ability to express themselves emotionally or creatively
📣 - their ability to connect with others and build healthy relationships in which they feel they belong and are supported and cared for
📣 - their ability to make life choices that support their whole authentic self where they feel confident, secure and at peace with who they are and how they contribute to the betterment of the world around them
This work is so simple and yet so powerful & effective at supporting the transformation of trauma, that anyone can use it, teachers, parents/ foster carers, coaches . . (It supports all relationships ☺️ )

When adversity occurs in a child’s life, it impacts on whole development, this is where ‘a dragon’ is created and begins to grow, if children have support in those early stages, that little dragon can be helped quite quickly, however without intervention or support, that dragon grows over years and years influencing everything until it eventually become unmanageable.
Dragons that have become unmanageable, can wreak havoc on our lives, in almost every area.
Relationships. Family. Money. Work. Health. Communication. Confidence.
Everything.
They don’t care who you are, where you’re from, how much money you have.
They sabotage from the inside out.
Which is why when we take the time to work with them on the inside, we can work together to bring them back and rebuild whole development once again.
