⭐️⭐️ PTC MEETING UPDATE ⭐️⭐️

Thank you to everyone who attended tonight’s meeting was a great turn out!

We were joined by Councillor Martha Mattos Coelho! Who kindly took some time on a very busy day to support us 🙏🏻

🅿️ Councillor Martha has been supporting us with the traffic and parking issues around the school to create a safe space for our children

🛑 we were provided with an update around keeping the areas safe and we URGE you not to park on the double lines and watch speed around the school surrounding - watch this space we having some great actions which are being supported by the community police alongside the traffic team!

⚽️ We raised concerns over the extra circular options and formed a plan around it! We also sponsored the bus for the archery competition alongside the PTA in support as we recognise the hard work time and effort our lovely Mr Morrison puts into archery 🏹 and we can’t wait to see how the kids get on

♻️ School bins were also the agenda! You’d never believe the cost of new bins!

🚽 We discussed access to the toilets during the day for pupils after some parental feedback ✔️

This spark an interest want to hear more come to our next meeting in the new academic term 👌🏻⭐️

A big thank you to everyone who stopped past the PTA stand for a wee drink or snack at Gracemount Primary School’s Sports Day.
We’re delighted to say we raised £90 for the school.

Huge thanks to our amazing helpers too who braved the cold!

We’ll be there again next year… and yes, still cheaper than Costa 😉

It's Gracemount Primary School's Sports Day tomorrow!

For the first time, the PTA are serving refreshments incl tea, coffee, water, fizzy juice, muffins, and pastries - just before the games start.

Find our table by the grass. Let’s keep spirits (and mugs) high! Pay by card/phone only, please.

Small group at our Gracemount Primary School PTA meeting last night, but we got lots planned for the rest of the year.

Coming along doesn’t mean you’re signed up for everything (or life!). Meet others, share ideas, and help make fun things happen for our kids.

We put a lot of thought into planning our meetings and events. It makes a real difference having more parents and carers involved—everyone’s welcome, no matter your background or experience. There’s no ‘typical PTA parent or carer’!

We’re a friendly bunch and love welcoming new faces! New events like Sports Day refreshments and the Toy & Book Rainbow came from parents’ suggestions so your ideas really matter.

🌈 Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the Toy & Book Rainbow - the kids loved it! Based on parent/carer and school feedback, we’ll tweak a few things for next year.

📅 Coming up to help the school upgrade the P2/3 playground:

• Thursday 2 April: Crazy Hair Day – Get creative and bring a donation!
