At Forth School of Music we offer fun, focused and flexible music lessons for all ages and abilities in and around Edinburgh. Why choose group piano lessons for your child? (part 3) 🎹

Each workbook is based on a theme, story or topic so that the children feel the pieces that they learn have meaning and direction towards a cohesive endpoint. The cute characters, great illustrations and fun songs obviously help too!

We have added some brand new classes for 2026-2027 and there are still some spaces to join us.

On the portal you can view your calendar, reschedule your lessons, view upcoming events and resources used in your lessons, plus much more. It's a very useful and important place.

Over the summer holidays we worked hard revising our group class curriculum in order to offer more classes and more progression to our students.

We are now very pleased to offer 6 group piano classes per week for children in P.1-P.5. More revisions and progression are already planned for next year and we can't wait!

Exciting News!!

We have been working behind the scenes to revamp our music school awards for 26-27 and we are delighted to announce our new certificate.

Student of the Month will be awarded to those who show consistent progress, reached a personal milestone, increased their confidence or someone who has shown that they represent one or more of our FSM values.

We can't wait to make the first award at the end of this month! ⭐
