✨ Anna Linda Gudmundsdottir, a nurse and hearing aid specialist from Iceland, graduated from QMU in 2020 with a Diploma in Higher Education, Hearing Aid Audiology after combining remote study (travelling over when able to do so) whilst also working in her own clinic in her native country.

✨ Iceland has less than ten Audiology specialists and no Audiology courses, which prompted Anna Linda to take up the Diploma offered at QMU to increase her specialist expertise after 10 years of clinical work.

And we are back 😉 The past year has been a rollercoaster on so many levels. COVID 19 introduced the team to home schooling combined with creative thinking to continue educating future Audiologists. It’s been tough but we are still here and in January 2021 we welcomed 34 new students to a wonderful profession. Today is World Hearing Day and the release of the first ever World Report on Hearing! .
