Our Primary 3 pupils have been stepping back in time as part of their Outdoor Learning activities ⚒️
Using branches gathered from the garden around the polytunnel, they have been learning how Vikings built fences by hand and putting their skills into practice to build their own fences.
A fantastic hands-on way to bring history to life while developing , , problem-solving, and practical outdoor skills👏

The Independents by Sodexo team at The Edinburgh Academy Senior School brought a splash of colour and sunshine to a rainy day with our Summer Smoothie Giveaway! ☀️🍓🍌
While the weather outside was less than summery, the team embraced the occasion by dressing in bright, colourful outfits and serving up delicious mixed berry smoothies packed with fruit, yoghurt, oats, and natural goodness.
It was fantastic to see so many pupils enjoying their complimentary smoothie and taking part in the fun. Events like these are a great way to promote healthy choices while creating memorable experiences for our school community.
A huge thank you to the team for their enthusiasm, creativity, and energy in making the day such a success.
