Welcome to Scottish History at Edinburgh, home for teaching and research into Scottish history from early medieval times to the present day.
Scottish History is part of the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh. Scottish History has been taught here ever since the prestigious Fraser Chair of Scottish History was established in 1902. The current Professor is Ewen Cameron. Reminder: Due to industrial action during the tail-end of this semester, our final seminar, to be given by Robbie Johnston on Thursday 28 November, is cancelled. We hope to reschedule Robbie's talk at some point next academic year.
