In one of many acts of kindness following the fire at our nursery in May of last year one of our parents launched a gofundme page. This post provides an update on the fundraiser and we will continue to update all our friends when we have more to share.

We have been a little quiet on our page recently but we hope to begin sharing more with everyone soon. In the meantime we would like to send a "Thank You" message to everyone for their amazing support.

In order to help our local community, our generous families have been donating to our food bank collection. This will be donated to a local church to be distributed to local families.
Thank you to all our families for their support and generosity.

As a family run setting, it is important to us to help support local communities.
We were delighted to support ‘NappiRunz’. A charity which distributes nappies to families in need.
Many of our families donated nappies for us to take to the local ‘NappiRunz’ drop off point.
What a haul we collected, thank you again to our generous families 🥰👍👍

Lockdown is very hard for everyone, not being to see friends and family but we are very happy to see dedicated key workers working hard to keep people safe 🌈
As part of our inter generational work, we have been visiting Cairdean House to build relationships with the residents but unfortunately during this lockdown, we are unable to go.
In order to keep our friendship going and hopefully cheer up the residents and thank the staff for their hard work, we wrote a letter and the children drew some pictures to send. (all laminated to be wiped down for safety)
stay safe everyone

We hope all our staff and families enjoyed a happy (although different) Easter! We are sure lockdown didn’t dampen the Easter spirit with lots of egg hunting and chocolate galore 🌈🥚

We are very proud and delighted to be open and supporting our fellow key workers through this difficult time. Our staff have been amazing throughout and the children have adapted brilliantly, welcoming new friends to our setting.
To show our support we have been painting rainbows 🌈 to display on our gate.
We would love to see everyone’s rainbows that they have drawn, painted, glued or made in any other way so please post them to our page and let’s fill our page with support and colour.

We enjoyed another visit to our local care home where we were visited by some therapy Shetland ponies. We enjoyed taking them round to visit the residents
A few of our pre school children took the bus to visit our local lollipop person as part of our 'people who help us' topic. Getting the bus was very exciting and the lollipop person was delighted to welcome us and help us cross the road.
