On 29 March, we're hosting a special reading of The Grain Store by Ukrainian playwright Natal'ya Vorozhbit (transl. by Sasha Dugdale).

Twenty-five actors will take to the Tron stage to read this extraordinary play set in a village in Ukraine in the 1930s where loyalties become divided as friends and families deal with the consequences of Stalin’s first five year plan – a plan which resulted catastrophically in the deaths through famine of several million people.

Beginning with innocent romance, The Grain Store evolves into a dark, tragic, often weirdly comic, and hugely theatrical work of art.

All box office income will be donated to Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) with tickets available from this link: http://ow.ly/GJ6j50IfXpI
