Walking our way into summer ☀️☀️☀️☀️

We have received lots of enquiries for summer holiday care, and for spaces after the summer holidays so thought it easier to advertise our availability here.
Summer holidays: we are both full.
As from August 2024, Sandra is full, however Moira has the following vacancies:
Monday and Tuesday: 2 preschool places up to 3pm
Thursday: 1 preschool place up until 3pm.

It’s been a long time since we posted, but we’re still here!! At the moment, we have limited vacancies up till Christmas, please contact us via messenger for more information. Moira is based in Baberton and Sandra in Juniper Green. We are 2 independent Childminders but work closely together, creating a fun environment for all our minded children.

Well, it’s been a long haul but at last there seems to be life at the end of the tunnel! Whilst recently, much of our working days have been spent locally, due to restrictions, we hope to get back to venturing further afield soon!! Outings such as Beecraigs, Archerfield, toddler groups, City Farms, the beach and soft plays will be back on our agenda as soon as we get the green light.
We offer places for preschool and after school children, Monday to Thursday, servicing Juniper Green Primary School. We do have a waiting list at the moment, however if anyone is interested in our service, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Moira lives in Baberton and I (Sandra) live in Juniper Green. We are 2 independent childminders but we work very closely together which gives the children a wider circle of friends to socialise with....which we know has been a challenge for everyone over the past year.

After a fantastic Easter holiday, we are back to normal! Our “normal” weeks consist of toddler groups, outings, parks and lots of fun activities with the children! That’s another Holiday Week over! Great fun was had by all this week at Eliburn Park, the Military Museum, Beecraigs and a fantastic day out at a Craigmillar Castle. And to top it all, the sun was shining!! ☀️
Back to normal next week, but already planning for Easter and Summer breaks!

We’ve done it!! ☀️🥂👌🏻🎊🎉 (😴😴)!!!! What an amazing summer so far, we’ve finished off the week with Jupiter Artland, Almondell Country Park, Princes Street Gardens and of course, North Berwick! Now to relax for 3 weeks, thanks to all our lovely Childminding families for another fabulous year, and we’ll be back Monday 13th August. Off now to enjoy that pink gin!! 🥂🤪

We have made it to the end of week 2 of the holidays which took us to Falkirk Wheel, Cramond, den building in Harlaw and Almond Valley! Fab time has been had by all as always! On the Home straights to our summer break and will be in touch over the weekend with next weeks activities. 🤗

Well, week 1 of summer holidays done! We’ve been to Beecraigs, Summerlee, Portobello and Meadows park this week! It’s been a blast...lots of laughs, and lots of great kids!! Oh, and sunshine definitely helped!! Will WhatsApp out over weekend our plans for next week. 😃

Easter holiday care has been somewhat different to what we had in mind!! Snowball fights and building snowmen was not on our original agenda!!! It’s been a great week, snow fun, trip to the circus and lots of indoor crafts, baking and lego!! Fingers crossed it’s a long hot summer!!! 🤞

Toasting (with Shloer!!) the end of a fabulous 3 weeks!! Its been a blast but looking forward to a glass of not Shloer, and 3 weeks off!!!! 🏖😎☀️👙🍾
