Join us tonight at 8pm for a dedicated evening of prayer as we lift up Education in Scotland and pray for the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

Prayer is not passive. It is how we contend. It is how we stay awake. It is how we strengthen one another for the road ahead.

This will be an evening to:
• Pray together for Scotland's education system
• Hear updates and specific prayer needs
• Stand alongside Christian schools, home educating families, co-ops, education initiatives, Christian teachers and students in state schools, the upcomimg elections and all who carry a heart for truth and freedom in education and our nation.

The trustees of Mannafields Christian Education Association have a vision to start a new independent school offering Christ-centred
education in Edinburgh.

The hope is to make it possible for parents, irrespective of the means to pay, to give their children an education in line with their Christian faith.

The greatest need at the moment is for new trustees with experience in education, HR, fundraising, safeguarding and health and safety, to reinforce our knowledge and experience in these key areas.

The ideal candidates will be those with experience especially in education. People who want to see Christian schools flourish and have the expertise to meet the challenge of ever-increasing regulation.

To do this we need to learn from our recent experience and increase our knowledge base.

Our greatest need at the moment is for new trustees with experience in education, safeguarding and health and safety, to reinforce our knowledge and experience in these key areas which are highly regulated.
Our ideal candidates would be a head or deputy head teacher and someone with experience in the social services. People who want to see Christian schools flourish and have the expertise to meet the challenge of ever-increasing regulation.

Mannafields Christian School Closure

We are very sorry to report that due to the fact that we were unable to satisfy the requirements of current regulations the Registrar of Independent Schools has removed Mannafields Christian School from the register of independent schools.
