How do you handle the corners when stretching a canvas?

We often recommend to our students for their wide range of materials, papers and studio essentials, as well as their accessible website and reliable delivery.

A rather nice side effect is the number of excellent boxes that arrive at the studio.

As this little video shows, we always find a way to reuse them. Nothing goes to waste if it can be turned into something useful. ♻️🎨

At our school, brushes and how you care for them are a big deal. We always encourage students to have their own. It is the most important tool an artist owns. You get used to them, they become an extension of your hand, and it just does not feel right using someone else’s.

We also know choosing brushes can feel overwhelming. So many shapes, so many brands, and that little voice asking if you picked the wrong one.

Very soon we will be sharing our go to oil painting starter brush pack, the ones we actually recommend at the school.

This term has flown by. With only two weeks left before our well deserved Christmas break, take a look inside our studios and see the incredible progress our students are making.
