Sizdah-bedar Festival – Iranians Celebrating Nature's Day
Sizdah Bedar (lit. Thirteen Outdoor) also known as Nature's Day is an Iranian festival held annually on the thirteenth day of Farvardin (the first month of the Iranian calendar), during which people spend time picnicking outdoors.

Astronomical spring
Astronomical seasons refer to the position of Earth's orbit in relation to the Sun, considering equinoxes and solstices. This is due to the 23.5 degrees of tilt of the Earth's rotational axis concerning its orbit around the Sun. Since the seasons vary in length, the start date of a new season can fall on different days each year. T

We have planned an introduction session next Saturday at Liberton High School at 10 am. We would love to welcome you to come and see us. We can discuss different options and get to know you before the teaching term starts.

Nowruz is a day that is celebrated by all the people regardless of ethnicity, religion, or language. To welcome Nowruz, homes are thoroughly cleaned and all broken items are repaired or replaced. People wear new clothes, festive foods are prepared and shared with loved ones and friends. The day is spent by visiting friends and relatives, exchanging festive greetings, gifts and good wishes.
