We’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but behind the scenes our team has been busy growing, learning and supporting one another 💛

🎃✨ It’s that spooky time of year again at Bright Sparks! ✨🎃

Our annual Pumpkin Competition kicks off next week, and we can’t wait to see your amazing creations! We’d love for all our families to take part by designing or decorating a pumpkin at home with your little ones, whether it’s spooky, silly, colourful or cute, every pumpkin is welcome!

Please bring your pumpkins in from Monday the 27th of October, and we’ll add them to our fantastic Halloween display outside the nursery for everyone to enjoy.

👻 The top 3 pumpkins will win a spooktacular prize, to be announced on Halloween!

To celebrate, the children can come dressed up in their favourite Halloween costumes and join us for a week of frightful fun from Monday the 27th to Friday the 31st of October with apple dooking, spooky dancing, games and messy play!

PRIMARY ONE 🍎📚

Primary school open days will be held on Wednesday the 5th of November this year. If you would like the chance to visit your child’s catchment school then contact them directly to find out more information!

And remember If your child's date of birth is between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2022 - they are due to start primary school in August 2026 you must register your child for P1 when registration opens in November 2025.

P1 Enrolment is online and it will be open from Friday the 3rd of November until Friday the 21st of November and you must register your child for primary one during this time
