Growing our own snack at After School Club. The children love helping water the plants all summer and picking the fruits and vegetables we grow to have for snack.

We have many therapy pets at Oxgangs After School club Marshmallow the rabbit, Alfie the guinea pig, Fish (yes he is actually called Fish) and Pip the dog, they bring so much to the children’s time with us. Interacting with therapy animals can lower blood pressure, boost self-esteem, foster trust, and provide a non-judgmental, comforting presence.

Not only did we secured a top 4 place in Edinburgh. We have been ranked in the top 12 in the whole of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 These tables are based on inspection results. Our staff team work really hard to keep continually improving and make the club a place children are really happy to be. We know how hard we will have to work for our next inspection, especially with the new Framework about to be published but we are up for the challenge 👍

We provide early morning care from 7.30am with breakfast. A nice soft start to the school day with play activities with our qualified staff before being walked to their line or class at the bell. Call 01314419300 for more information.

At After School Club we really love our garden. Look what we have grown this year. They all taste so much better when you have grown them yourself.
Our leeks and onions went to one of our families and they made an amazing soup. That makes me even more proud of our little garden and all the work the children put in watering and tending to it👍

Guess who’s no 4 in the top 12 ! Oh only little old us 👍
